Haven't been to cafe rio in quite some time but decided to try this locale for a quick meal...wasn't busy around 8 on a Saturday night so ordering was quick and easy...the kids quesadilla was a good size for a child and the burrito was absolutely huge...good taste on both orders...jnterior was fairly large and had a nice array of colors as if at a Mexican beach resort...good value for the amount of food received and will give it another go in the future...RECOMMEND

I have come to this particular location a few times and the food is always good. I would like to recognize one particular employee, he is tall, glasses and is always so helpful. (I apologize I do not know his name) He walks around each table asking how our food was and to let him know if we need our plates cleared. The place is always clean and always stocked up. I happened to get the new mint lime drink, and he said it was great and an employee favorite. I have been to many Cafe Rio locations, and he is by far the nicest.

Food (5/5): this was my first time visiting a Cafe Rio and the food was great! Everything tasted fresh and the portion sizes are really big, pairing well with the price points of ~$14 for the nachos and ~$13 for the quesadillas. If you're planning on getting the barbacoa with the nachos, try to finish them the same sitting instead of taking leftovers home like I did, because the juice from the meat made the chips soggy, even after reheating them in the air fryer at home. The chicken quesadillas were simple and delicious and I liked how fresh the tortillas were, especially when we saw them being made to order. Service (3/5): I've been planning to try this place for months, and we specifically went to this location on a Friday so we could try the $9.99 nachos special. However, as mentioned above, the price for them ended up being the regular ~$14, because I guess we were supposed to let the workers know beforehand that we wanted to do the nachos special, which is a smaller size? I felt like this was false advertisement since there was no disclaimer on the specials menu, and I was disappointed when I realized I could've gone on any other day for the same price I paid for this visit. In addition, I told them this was my first time trying Cafe Rio, and they didn't do a good job explaining what was included for toppings. I normally having hot sauce with every meal, and even though I asked if it was included, workers were vague about it. Our receipt doesn't show a price breakdown for the additional toppings, so that adds more to the confusion, especially since toppings like guacamole are normally additional at places like Chipotle. Ambiance (5/5): I really liked the theme of the restaurant. The multicolored seating area made the place feel fun and almost like a beach club of some sorts, and there's plenty of space for everyone, whether you'd like to dine inside or outside. Overall (4/5): the food was great and the price points were justified, but the poor communication between ordering the specials and understanding the price point for additional toppings could be better.

I come to this location all the time and have a great experience. Today I came in to get some dinner and all went well, per usual. I got rung up by Cindy, and something about her energy and personality made me want to leave a great review for her. She was so personable and nice through the whole interaction.

It was my first time trying Cafe Rio due to a recommendation from a colleague that said the sweet pork and tomatillo dressing were bomb. He was not wrong. We got a sweet pork burrito enchilada style with habanero salsa and tomatillo dressing on top, chips and queso, and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was super tasty. I really like the tomatillo dressing and queso. I'll need to try the beef barbacoa next time! We came right at open. Service was quick and friendly enough. The restaurant is very colorful and decorated cute. There's tons of seating too.
